Location is great access to grocery stores and fast food options such as chipotle. I really like that you could control the room with the iPad. I really needed a hotel room, but I could just relax, and this is the perfect lounge type of hotel.

The customer service including the advice on where to eat, the control of the lighting, the TV, and the curtain in the palm of your hand. And can't forget how colorful and stand out the lobby is.

Location is close to metro, despite small rooms they are quite comfortable. Nicd lighting in the rooms, super comfortable bed, there's a small gym for guests.

Very modern, fun atmosphere. The staff was fantastic, very friendly and helpful. The NoMa Metro stop was a short walk. It was quick and easy to get to the National Mall and other DC sites from there. Was much more affordable than staying right in the downtown area. The breakfast was great food and very convenient. There was a wide selection of food, and everything tasted great.

The staff is super friendly and helpful, check-in and check-out were efficient and uncomplicated. The location was great, incredibly close to the subway, bus stops, grocery stores, restaurants and coffee shops. My room was bright, had an incredible view, a very comfortable and clean bed, and 4 fluffy and generous pillows. I was able to adjust the temperature, lights, and change the TV channels on the iPad (there's a remote for the TV as well). In addition, it's really easy to reach out to someone if you need help. Would definitely stay there again!

Clean and modern rooms. Yes they are small but who goes to Washington to stay in their room? It is purely somewhere to sleep and shower. Cost about $10 in an uber from Union station. There is a supermarket and a pharmacy across the road. The metro station is a 3 to 4 minute walk away. Approximately 30 minute walk to The Capitol and the same to some nice restaurants (Carmines, Tik Thai). Yes there are some ‘characters’ on the streets but we didn’t experience any issues. First time in a Citizen M hotel but would definitely stay again.

This is next-generation "pod". Every inch and detail is optimised to go a little extra beyond comfort, like the playful lighting scheme. Clearly, a large comfy bed takes priority, but without compromising work and clever storage spaces, as well as a proper view out of the large window. Impeccably clean room and common spaces. This is hands down the best breakfast buffet I have ever encountered: fresh granola with all the toppings, avocado toasts, eggs, bacon, good breads, fresh fruit and good coffee. Best point though is the ambience. Staff is invariably unassuming, friendly and helpful, and groups of people socialise in the many lovely communal spaces (large bar and co-working desks), greeting arrivals with sounds of laughter and a chill, friendly vibe. Small, very decent gym, well kept-up, free towels and water. Ironing room on every floor. CVS, Pete's Coffee and eateries immediately adjacent. Metro stop is a 5-minute walk, one stop away from Union Station.

Excellent location, right next to a metro stop, a grocery store and lots of places to eat. Very walkable area as well, can really get all over DC quite easily from there. This was my first time staying at a CitizenM and I really liked it. It's clean and modern with a friendly staff, a bar and some great spots to hang out or work in the lobby. The rooms are pretty small, but they are designed to utilize the space well. Really liked the shower, the large, firm bed and the blackout blinds. Overall, excellent value for the price, and perfect for a solo traveler. It would work for two people as well, but might feel a little cramped if you're not used to being in close quarters with each other. I will look for this chain again the next time I book somewhere.

Breakfast was great, lounge was comfortable and welcoming! Drinks were nice and staff were all excellent and helpful! The rooms offer everything I needed and were clean. The iPad was easy to use and and answered questions that I had. I will come again!

I absolutely liked how when it came close to night time the front sliding door for the main entrance to the hotel would basically be on lock mode unless you had a card. Made my stay so much more safer and secure as well having a security guard around making sure no one came in without their key card. Me being deaf the servers were super nice and helpful as well! I recommend this place to anyone who's looking for a short & sweet stay it's totally worth it!
